What You'll Bring

A Bachelor’s Degree in Design, HCI, Interaction design, and/or related experience

At least three years of corporate or agency design experience

A strong product design perspective and a grasp of the Design Thinking methodology

Experience creating interface design systems, preferably leveraging the Atomic design methodology

A solid understanding of UX/UI, Interaction principles, and patters for native mobile and responsible web design across devices

A proven portfolio of a few discovery involved projects from research to ideation to wire framing/rapid prototyping to testing to final design

Understanding of how to work in an agile environment

Expert knowledge of the following standard professional design tools: Adobe CC Suite, Sketch, InVision, Figma

Experience in unique approaches to presenting your work and deck creation.

Capability to advocate for and communicate design decisions to stakeholders

Comfortability with working remotely from the development team located in California.

Been involved in design research workshop

Can code with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript

Proficient in interaction design and motion tools such as Adobe After Effects, Principle, etc.

Visual Designers at TransUnion major in skilled visual storytelling who play a pivotal role in the web and app design strategy, conception and production of beautiful ideas and creative out. We are a people-first design community and we are always putting ourselves in the shoes of the consumer as decisions are made. The moment you begin your journey with us is the moment represent the consumer in every emotional aspect. From the way they think, act, respond, feel, and behave you become the psychologist of the project. Putting it simply; yes, you’ll make cool stuff.

You’ll be part of a growing design team that’s responsible for crafting the next generation of consumer credit monitoring, identity theft, and personal finance applications.

You’ll work with Product Managers to analyze business requirements and user stories to scope creative and front-end needs

You’ll build and maintain brand collateral, creative, and UI assets up to an including custom iconography, illustrations, and animation

You’ll have exposure to some of the best design communities in Chicago

You’ll develop UX/UI design deliverables to support user research and optimization testing (A/B, MVT, Usability) - You’ll perform user acceptance testing for all releases to ensure that enhancements support the desired artistic direction, interaction requirements, and user flows.
