UI Intern
Mission:
Contribute to the continued development of the DAIS design system by assisting the UX designers with specific elements and working directly with the Head of UX to further develop the design system.

You’ll be developing elements for an impactful Chicago startup that you will be able to add to your portfolio.
We use the latest software tools for managing our design work, so you will learn Abstract, Zeplin, JIRA, and InVision.
Responsibilities:
Design system
Organization and updating of the design system
Developing key components with the head of UX
Assisting the UX designers with UI changes, including resizing of screens for different resolutions
Requirements:

Personality
A personality that is inquisitive, open-minded, confident, and comfortable escalating issues and blockers to get them resolved as quickly as possible
Comfortable presenting early designs in front of stakeholders and users to gather feedback and constructive criticism so that the design can be improved quickly
Ok with starting a design for others to react to, and comfortable with receiving feedback to make the design better
Excellent communication skills and a pleasant personality
