UI / UX Designer, Analytics
This role is for a UI/UX (User Experience) engineer that will operate as a member on one of the core teams responsible for enabling new features and optimizing strategic Analytics platforms across TransUnion. Our multi-Petabyte platforms support a diverse community of internal and customer-based data scientists, statisticians, modelers, product developers and data strategists.
As a contributing member on one of our agile development teams, you will have both the accountability and freedom to build systems that are taking TransUnion to the next level. Success in this role requires a blend of skills in the following technology areas:
• Agile (Scrum) SDLC
• UI & User Experience (UX) Design
How You’ll Contribute
• Function as a core team member within one of our Agile teams building front-end applications and services that support the Analytics platforms of TransUnion
• Collaborate with product owners and team members on requirements and implementation approaches for addressing demand and challenges
• Create solution concepts and mockups, and produce high-resolution functional prototypes
• Assist in research and prototyping activities such as customer round tables, evaluations, and user experience testing
• Train, coach and support users on usability and optimizations of interactions
What You’ll Bring
• Three or more years of Web Design experience
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and UI Mockup design tools
• Experience working on teams operating under an Agile Scrum delivery methodology
• Experience working within software development environments and demonstrable passion for optimizing end-user experiences
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide alternative solutions to technical problems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent experience
