Launched in 1999, ShowingTime has ultimately automated the scheduling and management of real estate showings across the country, and brought about a new way for agents to share local market data.  We're looking for a UI / UX Designer to help us respond to growing market demand for our products. In this role you will have the opportunity to work in great detail but can also focus on broader strategy.  You will work closely with all personalities and multiple levels to support our evolution of functionality and design.  Specifically, you will:

• Create user interface designs, including page layouts and navigation, for internal web applications using UX design tools, such as Sketch, Invision, Figma and Zeplin.
• Work closely with business and IT project team members to understand the business process and requirements in order to design the most effective user interfaces.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams striving to develop optimized, user-friendly user experiences.
• Develop labeling, navigation and site structures to support usability.
• Develop requirements by analyzing target audience, objectives, user needs, and business needs.
• Develop use scenarios, navigational structures, sitemaps, user/task flows, and wireframes.
• Develop conceptual design concepts and instantiate design concepts in the form of detailed screen designs and learning aids (e.g., user manuals, quick reference cards, training animations).
• Develop final artwork (e.g., buttons, icons, illustrations) for software user interfaces, hardware user interfaces, and learning aids.

To be successful in this role you will bring:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in user interface design, information architecture, interaction design, human factors, and other related UX disciplines.
• The ability to employ pragmatic and effective approaches to UX. Keen understanding of usability principles, web standards, UI patterns and their application. 
• Experience conceptualizing and/or designing instructional documents, and/or packaging a major plus.
• Experience turning ideas into workable code (HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, etc.). 
• Front end development experience is not required but a plus.
