Eight Bit Studios is a digital products company working with brands big and small on big challenges. Vertically integrated right here in Chicago, we are project managers, quality assurance folks, user experience strategists, product designers, and technologists creating great products for mobile and the world wide web. We want to be the best of the Midwest and we can’t do it without you!

Duties include:

• Facilitating workshops to ideate and prioritize
• Planning and conducting user research for discovery and evaluation
• Communicating and addressing findings
• Developing user models such as personas and journeys
• Sketching, whiteboarding, and dancing with our product design team
• Collaborating like a crazy person
• Collaborating like a sane, normal person
• Comfortable thinking both in the clouds and in the weeds
• Creating wireframes in a pinch
• Creating storyboards, flows, and swimlane documents
• Writing functional specs
• Writing interaction specs
• Finding the happy place where user and business needs meet cute
   

To give you an idea of the types of work you might do with us, in 2017 we launched 3 different social network / utilities (2 on mobile and 1 across mobile and web) helping sports fanatics, gardeners and finance pros get all social-like, created a full blown mobile video editor, launched a set of of apps and website for better logistics (yeah we hung out with truck drivers at truck stops), created an app for elite marathon runners, created some apps to help families get health benefits through free produce, created an app for helping families manage chores, unified a HUGE corporate asset library and made a tool for quickly access resources, worked on some things for Google, did social media marketing for a huge arcade gaming company, and believe it or not a whole lot more! We aren't doing a tiny piece of these projects, we're doing the research, creating the branding, doing the design and implementing the sweet tech.

It was a banner year and we’re on track to make 2018 even more gooder!
