WHAT YOU’LL DO

Design Leadership

• Work with a talented team of visual and UX designers to improve retirement outcomes for our customers
• Own and improve design processes ranging from user research to prototypes to finalized deliverables for developers
• Provide mentorship and guidance to other designers
• Advocate for the user and incorporate customer insights and principles throughout the creative process

Team Leadership

• Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to plan and prioritize projects for the design team
• Manage and maintain team motivation and morale
• Identify and resolve or escalate issues and conflicts within the design team

• Build connections between design, product, business, technology and analytics teams

Requirements

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• You have 8+ years experience in user experience design
• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Design, HCI, Engineering, Business or equivalent experience
• You have experience establishing design best practices within an organization
• You’re able to prioritize personal and team workloads to best meet organizational objectives
• You recognize and appreciate appealing UX in software
• You are results-oriented and will just as soon defend the ideas of others as your own
• You understand the software development life cycle, and development methodologies like agile & lean
• You possess strong communication skills and are eager to work with people across different skillsets and seniority
• You are detail-oriented and have experience juggling multiple priorities and overlapping project timelines
