Visual Designer, Design Systems
Passionate about making a difference in the world of cancer genomics?
With the advent of genomic sequencing, we can finally understand our genetic makeup. We now have more data than ever before but providers don't have the infrastructure or expertise to make sense of said data. Here at Tempus, we are building the infrastructure to modernize cancer treatment. By analyzing a patient’s genetic data in the context of molecular therapies, Tempus empowers physicians to make real-time data-driven decisions in the clinic based on the comprehensive computational analysis of a patient’s unique pathology.
We're on a mission to connect an entire ecosystem to redefine how genomic data is used in clinical settings. We're looking for designers who are passionate about changing the status quo and bringing cancer care into the 21st century.
About the role
We’re looking for a Visual Designer to join our growing design team. You’ll be a part of a team dedicated to defining and implementing the Tempus design system. You’re a strong visual designer with experience turning complex problems into simple design solutions.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll be responsible for creating simple, digestible, elegant patient reports that are consistent across all products and diseases. These results are a critical piece of our product offering and help outline potential treatment options for patients so they can develop a personalized treatment plan.
You have exceptional design skills, and are extremely organized with pixel-perfect standards and excellent attention to detail. You understand the importance of designing for accessibility and usability.
You’re a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced environment with lots of ambiguity. You’re curious and eager to learn and understand the Tempus landscape and our users.
You’re passionate about creating products and experiences that make a difference and directly impact the lives of patients.
You’re comfortable working with expert stakeholders to translate complex scientific concepts into beautiful, digestible designs.
