We're seeking a Director of Marketing who will become a product champion and drive go-to-market strategies to generate leads, acquire new customers, and improve the success of existing customers.

As the Director of Marketing at Spark Hire, your primary responsibility will be demand generation. You will be a key contributor to our continued success, revenue lifts, and hyper-growth goals.

You'll be accountable for developing and executing inbound and outbound strategies that masterfully drive leads into and through our sales funnel. This includes paid advertising (Adwords, social, retargeting, etc.), SEO, SEM, content marketing, nurture campaigns, partner marketing, customer marketing, email campaigns, webinars, and more.

You will...

  • Own the strategy for how Spark Hire generates demand across multiple buyer personas
  • Become the go-to expert on our product and its benefits
  • Develop a keen understanding of our customer demographics and the industries they work in
  • Generate awareness about the product and implement strategies that will educate the market on its benefits
  • Lead company and product positioning with regards to our existing product, new feature launches, and integrations/partnerships
  • Craft our value proposition to different audiences based on research and campaign data
  • Empower our customers to share their success stories and represent the "voice of the customer"
  • Master the tools and apps we use to execute our strategies and amplify our results
  • Scale a team of skillful marketers to take us from where are we are now to where we want to be (and quickly)
  • Drive revenue!

Additional things we'll be looking for...

  • Proven track record of generating demand and meaningful results at a SaaS company (preferably B2B.)
  • Experience with marketing to multiple buyer personas
  • A portfolio which showcases the ability to be hands-on in the production of marketing materials to support full campaigns (e.g. landing pages, email sequences, marketing automation workflows, etc.) We want to make sure you can jump right in as we build out the team.
  • Ability to implement new and advanced marketing technologies
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills along with a knack for creating compelling content that educates, sells, and inspires audiences.
  • Strong understanding of tools/platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Unbounce, and more
  • Basic proficiency/understanding of HTML and CSS
