Responsibilities

  • Partner with user researchers, designers, product managers, and engineers to help turn insights into better software.
  • Participate in user feedback sessions to identify usability issues and green-field product opportunities.
  • Contribute to our design and development community, help improve our design process, build our design toolkit.
  • Appropriately balance experimentation and execution. 
  • Motivate and coach designers to set and reach their goals.
  • Conduct 1:1 meetings with product designers to assist in project prioritization, weighing in on research plans, design decisions, and roadblocks.
  • Attract and recruit exceptional talent to join the team as needed.

Requirements

  • You're a proponent of the human-centered design lifecycle and know how to bridge the gap between business objectives and meaningul user experiences.
  • You're a clear communicator of product decisions and know the rationale between them.
  • You have experience shipping products and features as part of a collaborative software development team.
  • You have an understanding of the technical architecture of complex web and mobile applications.
  • You have experience influencing managers, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • You have exceptional written and oral communication skills.
