Ratings and reviews solutions from PowerReviews are essential for consumers as they search and shop online and in-store, and they are proven to increase online site-wide sales up to 17%.

In your role as Director, Product Marketing, you will be responsible for developing the PowerReviews’ Go To Market (GTM) strategy for all product offerings and driving the successful launch, marketing and adoption of existing products and future innovations. As Director, Product Marketing you will grow revenue, drive new product adoption and support customer marketing, engagement and loyalty through strategic marketing programs. You will also work cross-functionally to accelerate pipeline growth, influence the product roadmap, grow the open syndication network, and support sales enablement deliverables. This is a critical position that will have a direct hand in driving the next phase of revenue growth and will report directly to our SVP, Marketing.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Drive PowerReviews’ overall GTM strategy, including pricing, packaging, portfolio management and strategic product guidance
  • Plan and implement the strategy for new product launches, collaborating with sales, customer success and marketing to ensure well-coordinated execution and measurable success
  • Drive new feature adoption with existing customer base and package appropriately with existing products to increase adoption with new clients
  • Execute deliverables of the product lifecycle process
  • Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies, pricing and positioning; assess their relative strengths and weaknesses and devise counter-strategies for both positioning and product differentiation in collaboration with the Product Team
  • Build strategy for growing the open syndication network
    • Support the Network Team in driving activities that grow the reach and content available through the open syndication network
  • Develop segmented value propositions that inform best-of-breed sales and marketing tools that accelerate growth
    • Positively impact PowerReviews’ pipeline and revenue growth
    • Define buyer/user personas, market problems, and distinctive competencies
    • Help define and execute the vision for thought leadership and research distribution
    • Support sales enablement with tools proven to decrease the sales cycle and improve win rates
  • Partner with Customer Success and own all customer marketing activities
    • Drive customer satisfaction, engagement and loyalty through marketing programs that positively impact NPS
    • Create programs that improve upsell, renewal and non-feature adoption KPIs
    • Deliver marketing with customers tools (case studies, videos, PR)
  • Other duties as needed
    • Support overall marketing KPI achievement
    • Assist SVP, Marketing in team management, active mentoring and professional development

    Requirements & Preferred Skills

    • 7-10 years experience required in software marketing and/or product marketing
    • Bachelor’s degree required, pragmatic certification desired
    • Proven track record of creating value through strategic product marketing in B2B SaaS industry (experience in ecommerce, retail, marketing and/or Cloud/SaaS is a plus)
    • Experience building compelling business growth models
    • Proficiency with Salesforce.com required, Marketo marketing automation is a plus
    • Command of best practices across marketing, product strategy and positioning
    • Exceptional knowledge of sales, marketing, and product development processes
    • Must have a solid understanding of marketing demand gen programs, events, and promotions, as well as experience in developing product marketing launch plans
    • Comfortable with building expertise in enterprise level technology solutions
    • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and clients
    • Previous experience building and growing marketing teams
    • Travel approximately 15% of the time
