Director of Talent Management
The Director of Talent Management will design and implement programs to engage, develop, reward and retain the best talent to effectively scale the organization. You will be a ‘keeper of the culture’ that Snapsheet has built while we continue to rapidly grow. You will coach, facilitate and grow leaders within our organization by providing strategic direction and thought leadership for how we manage our talent.
You will own and drive the following areas:
Learning and Development
- Assess organizational strengths and opportunities for improvement; create action plans to help teams across the organization develop their people and reach their goals
- Identify current training needs and gaps, and build training strategy and roadmap to support Snapsheet’s growth.
- Use innovative resources to provide our current management with the tools and techniques necessary to successfully train, motivate and retain their team members
- Develop world class learning experiences for all departments within the organization
Performance Management
- Build capability to calibrate success across organization and design a performance management process that fits the Snapsheet culture
- Develop competencies that align with our values to drive accountability and reward the right behaviors.
- Implement programs to holistically understand the current performance and future potential of our talent base
- Create clear and transparent career pathing and promotional processes.
Recognition & Rewards
- Assess current programs to understand organizational and individual impact
- Implement meaningful and cost effective programs to maintain the high engagement and retention throughout the organization.
People Analytics
- Develop surveys and analyze data to identify what we do well and what opportunities we should prioritize
- Utilize data to keep a pulse on our people needs, increase manager effectiveness and ultimately show the impact of talent programs year over year.
What and who we are looking for:
- 5+ years of measurable results building, elevating and leading a Talent Development/Management function and team; thrives on building capabilities to solve big problems
- Effective player/coach who can quickly build trust and credibility with all levels of the organization
- A driver that demands excellence from themselves and others; always looking for ways to improve
- Relevant experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth company with startup or lean organization feel
- Experience building learning and development curriculum across multiple job functions and levels
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Communications or relevant field required. Master’s degree in I/O Psychology or relevant field strongly desired
- Strong analytical and reporting skills; highly proficient in Excel
- High emotional intelligence, a can-do mentality and a creative approach to problem solving
- Executive presence with ability to influence, even the most difficult of stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and ability to execute on multiple plans
