Adobe Campaign Developer
We are seeking an Adobe Campaign Developer to support high-priority Marketing Technology implementation projects and ongoing omni-channel campaign execution initiatives. This position sits within our Marketing Services team, but will regularly interface with a large, cross-functional team of developers, solution architects, marketing strategists and digital marketing specialists to help bring digital customer experiences to life. As such, the ideal candidate will be dynamic and flexible with a strong affinity toward data and process.
Responsibilities:
- Develop deep knowledge of each client's business and available data to ensure campaign solutions meet client's marketing objectives
- Translate business and technical requirements provided by marketing strategists and campaign specialists into detailed solutions for cross-channel campaign execution in Adobe Campaign
- Support in-platform development and execution of digital marketing campaigns across channels (email, SMS, push, direct mail)
- Serve as day-to-day Adobe Campaign technical SME to internal and client teams to support platform troubleshooting, training and knowledge share
- Support Campaign Architects, as required, with platform configuration, development and optimization tasks and in enforcing best practices
- Provide campaign QA, testing and deployment support to other developers, campaign specialists and QA resources
- Work closely with project management team to manage workflow and deadlines across multiple, simultaneous campaign projects and change controls
- Provide support to senior team members throughout project estimation and Campaign discovery engagements, as needed
- Provide support to internal Campaign Operations team for ongoing campaign platform, workflow and template optimizations, as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related business or technology field, or equivalent work experience required
- 3 to 5+ years experience in a Software Development role working with data driven applications
- Minimum of 2 years working with Adobe Campaign Classic and Adobe Campaign Standard preferred
- Adobe Campaign Developer certification preferred
- Experienced data modeler in relational database systems
- Experienced writing SQL queries for Select/Insert/Update/Delete, including knowledge of multi-table joins and outer joins
- Experienced with JavaScript, JSON and XML
- Experience or familiarity with HTML, MJML, CSS and responsive email coding a plus (but not required)
- Agency experience preferred, with experience in a client-facing role and knowledge of overall agency structures and agile project management methodologies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with other industry-leading Campaign orchestration platforms a plus (such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, SAS, Redpoint, Oracle or similar)
