OK, so where do you fit in?

At Eight Bit Studios our Developers turn visions into reality. We are looking for a collaborative innovator who is confident in taking user focused design and turning it into great code. You will go all-in, working closely with our team to release the caliber of products our clients have come to expect from Eight Bit Studios. We don’t want numbers to be a prohibiting factor but we think, on average, you’ll have had 2-4 years of experience to be successful in this role. You'll likely have worked with Java and Kotlin. Brownie points if you've got some iOS or Rails skills!

At your core, you are a problem solver, collaborator and learner. You take pride in your work and know that through empathy for the user, the best work is created.

Also, we are looking for a FTE, but if you are interested in contract work, we would also be open to a contractor joining our team to fill this need!

Now here’s what you’ll be doing in this role:

• Building new and improving existing Android product functionality

• Breaking down complex problems into elegant technical solutions to intelligently solve problems

• Managing and maintaining an existing application architecture

• Keeping pace with the Android ecosystem and integrate with new platform capabilities

• Engaging with user experience, designers and other developers to ensure a unified product experience

• Developing, implementing, and operating testing processes that ensure consistent quality

• Monitoring and responding to production app crashes and customer issues

• Managing build processes and private beta testing
