The Team
As the connection between the client and company, the Customer Success team serves as both the voice of the customer and the face of Arity. Customer Success is — you guessed it — a customer-centric team working daily to develop shared goals through practical solutions, which offer real results. Collaborating daily with customers, sales, engineering, product, and business strategy teams, Customer Success manages diverse relationships with grace and skill. They’re empowered to flex their creativity when solving problems, onboarding clients, and gathering customer feedback to ensure continued satisfaction and evolution. The Role
Arity has an exciting opportunity within our Customer Success Organization as an Solution Implementation Engineer (Band D). The Implementation Engineer is passionate about working with a diverse set of Clients. The Implementation Engineer is primarily responsible for guiding, and assisting, Arity Clients during their onboarding, particularly with complex and/or custom onboarding initiatives and may continue to provide service to the Client throughout the relationship with Arity. You have experience in software development, engineering and support with the ability to understand how products and solutions are architected.
Responsibilities:
- Help clients gain a technical understanding of our mobile SDK and telematics platform APIs and/or relevant products.
- Maintain awareness and have ability to demonstrate features of all generally available (GA) products and their associated business benefits. This includes creating demonstrations and replicating the customer requirements into a proposed solution.
- Ability to interact with Arity’s RESTful web services.
- Collaborate with Clients to troubleshoot mobile app development while implementing Arity technology.
- Collaborate with Product, and Engineering, to understand the implementation, and adaptation, of Arity products, solutions, and capabilities, such as APIs and SDKs.
- Collaborate with Arity Product Management, Platform Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Operational excellence to understand, and help evolve, Arity’s software testing procedures and global privacy standards and requirements.
- Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to share critical client activity.
- Maintain, evolve and mature iOS and/or Android skills.
- Capture and manage implementation and onboarding progress in the Arity Customer Success system of record.
- As needed travel to Client sites.
- Build subject matter expertise in mobile SDK implementations and API development and management.
- Through the process of onboarding and support identify upsell opportunities and collaborate with the Customer Success Managers to
- Build long-term technical relationships and become a trusted adviser for customers across all lines of business.
- Participate in industry-related conferences and events which includes speaking, technical demonstrations and networking to generate leads.
- Provide Arity leadership visibility into potential future state requirements of Arity products via customer interaction, competitive research and industry-related conferences.
Qualifications
- Degree in computer science, software engineering and development, or relevant work experience in computer science supported by 5-7 years working experience.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and evolving software capabilities with clients.
- Experience in using APIs in both web apps, as well as mobile applications.
- Proven development experience in iOS and/or Android mobile development.
- Experience in working with debugging tools like Postman for mocking API calls.
- Ability to understand and manipulate native mobile code that has been written in languages such as Java, Objective C, or Swift.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex JSON data objects.
- Ability to express complex technical concepts in straightforward terms as you may coach and work with a variety of stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated experience communicating and presenting to Clients.
- A desire to make transportation safer, smarter, and more efficient.
- Knowledge base development and cross-team member education given client learnings and technical subject matter expertise.
Nice to have:
- Advanced degree in technical specialties and/or business.
- Knowledge of IoT and sensor data ingestion and processing techniques.
- Knowledge of the ride-share and/or car-share economy.
- Experience submitting mobile apps to the Apple and Google app stores.
- Working knowledge of hybrid mobile technologies such as React Native or Ionic.
- Experience presenting at user groups, conferences, and/or sales pitches.
- Previously held Client Support and/Client Consulting roles and responsibilities.

The salary range for this position is $75,900 - $138,300. The salary offered is comensurate with experience.
