We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Analytics Engineering team. You’ll design, build, and track the cloud infrastructure that powers Arity’s analytics, data engineering, and machine learning solutions. You’ll improve our build automation, enhance our data security, and speed up our delivery by intelligently harnessing AWS services. The role requires the ability to design, iterate, learn, and improve. As a part of our Analytics organization, you’ll get to work with and build for a group of world-class data scientists, data engineers, analysts and software engineers. You’ll shape the future of how we research and develop mobility data science solutions. 

• Build, deploy and maintain the AWS infrastructure for the analytics platform using Terraform 
• Implement a performant environment that is incredibly reliable 
• Collaborate heavily with product dev teams and data science experts to test implementations 
• Support continuous improvement of data science and data engineering practices to create world-class capabilities 
• Influence the strategy and roadmap of our analytics infrastructure as you gain experience with our business and current implementation 

• You must be familiar with the many AWS IaaS and managed service offerings
• You must be able to automate practically anything with Ansible and Terraform 
• You’re experienced with CI/CD services, such as Jenkins, Git, CI, etc. 
• You know when to deploy monitoring tools like DataDog, CloudWatch, Sentry, Prometheus 
• You’re not just comfortable with Linux, you thrive in it. You can debug, design, and compile with speed 
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity 
• Good interpersonal communicator / collaborator
• Competitive with themselves while being humble
