Duties: Responsible for systems analysis and design of computer applications related to the Futures and Options Line of Business. Run IT projects from inception to deployment using Issue and Project Tracking Software JIRA from Atlassian and Agile Methodology for Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Conduct meetings with business users and technical staff to coordinate project development using Microsoft Software Suite. Read and Write Software with Structure programming languages and Object Oriented languages. Develop enterprise applications using Oracle Database, Unified Modeling Language (UML), Structured Query Language (SQL), Java Language, Javascript language, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and Extensible Markup Language (XML). Conduct Application Security Settings and Risk Controls. Act as a liaison between onshore and offshore development teams. Produce technical documentation: Functional and Technical Specification, Testing Plans, Knowledge database. Participate in internal and external audits. Provide Application Support. Keep up with financial industry regulations and comply with mandatory reporting. Conduct training sessions. Follow JPM internal procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field plus 1 year of experience in Project Management, Computer Programming, or related experience OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field plus 5 years of experience in Project Management, Computer Programming, or related experience.

Skills Required: Must have computer programming experience with: Java language, object-oriented principles, User Interface (UI) development, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), and Javascript Language. Must have demonstrated knowledge of Project Management, change management, Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology. Must have experience with Object-oriented design, system analysis, Unified Modeling Language (UML), object role modeling. Must have Database Design experience with Oracle SQL, database administration, data warehousing, and data modeling. Must have experience in an Investment Banking domain, including Futures and derivatives. Must have Microsoft Software Suite experience. Must have demonstrated knowledge of software implementation, system/unit testing, writing test cases, technical documents. Must have experience with website design, Tomcat server setup, website management, disaster recovery, infrastructure, and testing.
