Responsibilities:

• Understand and implement modern design patterns to facilitate code re-use and develop scalable/fault tolerant systems.
• Mentor staff-level developers on coding best practices and serve as a technical escalation point during development.
• Lead code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve overall code quality.
• Design, develop and configure Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software systems to meet business process and application requirements.
• Design and implement “helper” elements to improve automation performance and re-use (e.g. runtime configurations/settings).
• Create and document test procedures and scenarios for the pre-UAT phases.
• Complete thorough testing of automation in training/production environments.
• Ability to understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualize it as an automated solution.
• Support implementing enhancements and change requests as part of a structured change control process.
• Work collaboratively with operational and technical teams to deliver projects by assigned deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science or related degree preferred but not required
• Excellent knowledge modern programming languages (e.g. C#, Java, C++)
• Experience with design and development of N-Tier applications at scale
• Experience testing and debugging code per specification document
• Experience understand and reading functional requirements and partnering with business analysts to implement them
• Strong hands-on ability to write secure, reliable & maintainable code and to test & debug it
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write concise technical docs and present ideas
• A passion for software design with a talent for independently solving complex technical problems
