Description
Simulation Development Engineer focused on Material Handling Autonomy Application.
Job Duties
This position will be responsible for Application Simulation development for the next generation of Autonomous Systems at Caterpillar. Responsibilities will include integration of Core Simulation Technologies into the development pipeline for the Material Handling Autonomy products.
Additional duties include, but may not be limited to:
Software development in ROS for specific features as needed. Test execution and support in the simulated environment.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of experience developing software for Off Road machine systems
3+ years of Linux experience
3+ years of experience with ROS, AIS, or other robotics operating systems
Top Candidates will also have
Experience with Autonomous Vehicle Development Simulation tools such as Gazebo, Applied Intuition, or CARLA
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience with utilization of Azure DevOps

The location for this position is Mossville, IL
