All Campus is searching for a Back-End Developer / Software Engineer to join our product development team in Chicago. We are building and expanding internal web applications as well as a developing a new SaaS offering. The project is currently in Alpha mode with an internal client using it as a pilot. The ideal candidate would help us build upon our current progress and take us to a beta and full product launch over the next few months.

We are looking for someone who strives to find efficient solutions, and works towards aggressive deadlines towards a new product launch. The ideal candidate for this role would be able to suggest the right tools for the job at hand, keeping in mind scalability and reliability. The candidate would work with the usability of the application in mind at all times, and would work in-sync with the designers and front end developers. We are a small, but growing, development team so the candidate must be comfortable taking ownership of tasks and seeing them through to completion.

Skills & Requirements

• 3+ years software development
• Strong experience with Python - pytest, Flask, SQLAlchemy, Celery, Jinja
• Experience developing web applications
• Strong experience with Relational databases - PostgreSQL a plus
• Proficiency with a DCVS (we use git)
• Familiarity with tools like Redis or RabbitMQ a plus
• Comfortable with basic front end technologies - JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS
• Experience with AWS or other cloud tech would be a plus
• Any experience with managing nginx would be a plus
