What you’ll bring:
- At least five years of C/C++ programming experience in a corporate environment
- Strong proficiency with Unix/Linux Command/shell scripting
- Solid understanding and experience with unit testing
- Working experience with file change control concepts
What we’d prefer to see:
- Working knowledge of Ab Initio
- Some project management experience
Impact you’ll make:
- You’ll join a team that creates customized data models for TransUnion’s internal and external customers that allow them to asses consumer credit risk
- You’ll create low-level model designs for complex model projects using current design tools and standards within specific timeframes
- You’ll develop complex C-code for batch and online model solutions
- You’ll perform unit testing on developed code and volume testing using custom or standard input data
- You’ll create necessary materials to turnover to our Quality Assurance teams and will assist with the analysis of the test results to ensure that programs are meeting the requirements given
- You’ll perform complex ad-hoc research and model debugging
- You’ll learn and use available tools to support code development
