C++ Software Engineer

As a C++ Software Engineer you will be developing next generation enterprise communications solutions designed for SaaS/Cloud, traditional premise-based, and hybrid architectures. As a member of the Engineering team, you will design, develop and deploy application solutions for the company's expanding list of Fortune 500 clients using advanced speech and VoIP technologies including SIP/RTP. We'd like to add a C++ Engineer to our team and we'd like to know if you think you fit the bill. You will if you:

What you can expect to be doing:

 

  • All aspects of application design, development, integration, deployment, post-deployment optimization
  • Software design
  • Technical requirements
  • Debugging skills

To be considered for this position you must have:

 

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1-4 years of C++ experience, including practical experience or project work in C++
  • Strong background in Object-Oriented Programming
  • Comfortable using Linux, Linux tools, and GBD debugger, a plus
  • Professional software development experience
  • Unix command line and shell programming

Ideally, you will also be able to demonstrate:

 

  • General network programming experience
  • Experience working with telephony networks and related technologies – CTI, IVR, VOIP (SIP/RTP)
  • Relational database and SQL
  • Experience with NoSQL technologies, such as MongoDB or Cassandra
  • Experience in a JVM language, such as Java or Scala
