Capacity Planning and Performance Engineer

What You'll Bring:
- Experience providing capacity planning and performance analysis aligned with business demand
- Ability to design, develop, implement, and adapt RESTFUL API web services
- Automation skills to design, program, and test automated processes in order to complete exact tasks
- Ability to gather data from different sources by creating an abstraction layer for Data virtualization
- Experience creating visual representations of large data sets and standard documentation and procedures aligned within capacity team's responsibilities
- Knowledge of performance and capacity related trends and issues including current emerging technologies and best practices.
- Demonstrate ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment with many deadlines and competing priorities.
We'd prefer to see:
- Experience using Tableau
- Splunk experience
- Development skills
Impact You'll Make:
The function of the Capacity Planning and Performance Engineer is to provide capacity measurement, reporting, and analysis of the distributed systems infrastructure for multiple data centers around the globe. This role ensures high levels of data integrity, quality and availability for the enterprise.
- Work with application owners to determine the most effective way to increase performance including hardware purchases, server configuration changes, or index/query changes.
- Create capacity utilization reports for Storage, Server, VMware, Database and Network infrastructure.
- Manage and provide current systems usage statistics, provide future projected growth estimates based on customer's demand.
- Maintain all capacity and performance reports published by team
