What you’ll do

As Enterprise Architect, reporting directly to Chief Technology Officer, you will influence across the organization to drive long-term and cohesive cloud platform technologies. Providing specific business value and competitive advantage with focus on following key areas:

• Leading the design and evolution of e-commerce platform for front- and backend systems, essential to thousands of our consultants and millions of our customers
• Success will require working across functional, geographic and business boundaries in order to foster synergistic communication and collaboration, and create a seamless end-user experience
• Continually monitor technology landscape for major disruptive trends that affect business
• Create and establish solid architectural patterns and principles

A day in the life

Work along engineers and architects supporting multiple agile sprint teams to achieve strategic business goals through custom software development based on top of a solid cloud architecture. Strategize, disrupt and invent new ways of doing things while utilizing new and old technology stacks reaching from the cloud with MongoDB, AngularJS and Node.js down to Java and Oracle. Scan for opportunities improving the current architecture identifying services and transitioning them to an effective, secure and scalable platform.

We’re looking for

• BS or Masters in CS, CIS, MIS, Engineering -OR- Relevant industry experience
• In-depth knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, micro-services, event-driven IT and predictive analytics
• Ability to balance the long-term ("big picture") and short-term implications of individual decisions
• Be accountable for aligning the business's strategic vision with its technology
• Knowledge of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting and risk management
• Exposure and understanding of existing, new and emerging technologies, and processing environments
• Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills
• Familiarity with information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, infrastructure and operations, and EA frameworks
• Highly collaborative and supportive of business and of its ideals and strategies
