JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • · Required 2-5 years of experience with JavaScript / Node.js / React / Angular
  • · Familiarity with SSO, Authentication, GitHub, Databases
  • · 2-5 years of development in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred
  • · 2-5 years of experience with Java, Python, .NET, C#, SQL experience is preferred
  • · Experience with analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Looker, etc.) is preferred
  • · Passion for data and analytics is a must!
  • · Ability to manage your own time with regards to project scope and timeline
  • · Ability to provide training and knowledge transfer to clients
  • · Demonstrated ability to present work in a professional manner
  • · Identify future project risks or opportunities for growth
  • · Awareness and ability to navigate customer politics
  • · Strong business acumen and clear business focus
  • · Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience

Our office is across from Millennium Park. We are near major bus lines and the El, and the underground Pedway provides direct access to our building.

What does your typical day look like?

A typical day consists of a combination of meetings, both centered around client interaction as well as internal check-ins. There is constant collaboration between employees and other teams, which creates an inclusive approach. As a consultant, I’m able to split my time to allow for development of new skills as I continue to grow professionally.

I joined Analytics8 as a Staff Consultant. Since then I’ve worked with clients in various industry verticals, gained broad exposure and hands-on experience with a number of new technologies and ultimately have seen real, tangible growth in my career. I now lead our Analytics service line, ensuring the delivery of high impact analytics solutions.

How do you make yourself accessible to the rest of the team?

An open, collaborative culture is important and one of the things that makes Analytics8 special. Access to leadership is something that we’ve never lost despite our growth. Recently, I spent a month traveling to all our offices and meeting 1:1 with every employee in the company and everyone knows my door is always open for anyone to come and chat.
