Job Description

Our NielsenIQ Technology teams are working on our new “Connect” platform, a unified, global, open data ecosystem powered by Microsoft Azure. Our clients around the world rely on NielsenIQ’s data and insights to innovate and grow.

As a CPQ Architect, you will act as a technical leader and be responsible for defining the overarching architecture of NielsenIQ’s Quote to Cash implementation, with support from a team of business owners, analysts, and external consultants. Additionally, this role will be responsible for ensuring best practices are followed in Q2C system design for both Configure Price Quote and Contract Lifecycle Management components, and work with a dedicated development team to implement the solution.
What you’ll do

  • Design flexible, scalable, and robust architecture for Apttus / Conga CPQ and CLM implementation that seamlessly integrates with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM system to meet the business platform needs
  • Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including Design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering software applications
  • Review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements
  • Understand the requirements and provide one or more options for the solution, utilizing Industry best practices
  • Perform hands-on solution design, proof-of-concepts and development and testing tasks as required in support of the implementation activities
  • Work independently to drive forward system implementation alongside senior program managers
  • Mentor junior Q2C technology team members
  • Work with cross-functional team to design and implement the system according to industry best practices
  • Ensure that a consistent Quote to Cash look and feel is developed globally and consistently with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM system
  • Assist business analysts and the development team in translating business requirements into functional requirements, according to Agile methodology
  • Work directly with the Quote to Cash Leader and business owners to establish and prioritize development milestones to achieve an MVP system build and subsequent releases according to Agile methodology
  • Perform technical solution reviews and provide recommendations to improve adoption and usage

We’re looking for people who have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • 8-10 years experience as a team member of successful software project implementations related to Apttus / Conga, Salesforce, and/or Microsoft Dynamics 
  • 8+ years of Salesforce or Dynamics configuration and development experience
  • 3+ years experience on Conga/Apttus (CPQ + CLM)
  • Experience with Microsoft integration solutions, including SOAP API, REST API, services, and Bulk API
  • Experience integrating Conga with different systems using webservices (REST or SOAP) or middleware
  • Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies, systems architecture, and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions preferred
  • Strong Conga and/or Dynamics out of the box configuration, including Data Model Security, Process Automations and database design
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Prior experience with Java or .NET technologies is a plus
  • Prior experience with a CRM migration project is a plus
