Role Description

As a DevOps engineer, you will play a pivotal role supporting our developers create a first to market software product for serving hundreds of thousands of e-commerce businesses across the country. You will partner closely across the technology, product and operations teams to develop cutting edge, scalable, web-based products. You will work with our team of product developers throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial explorations through final deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines
  • Spin up VM’s to ensure scalable environments as needed
  • Provide architecture recommendations
  • Plan and implement security procedures
  • Create ARM templates for deployments

Desired Responsibilities:

  • 4+ years' experience
  • VSTS experience preferred but other release management tools acceptable
  • Knowledge of Blue/Green deployments
  • Security (Active Directory, WAF’s, Firewalls)
  • Sharp, energized and dedicated
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or similar

Expertise in the following:

  • Azure ARM (automation, networking, managing Azure SQL)
  • Knowledge of OOP (C# preferred)
  • Proficient PowerShell scripting, with knowledge of DSC
  • Understanding of Linux administration (we have a few Linux boxes)
  • IIS administration with ARR
  • Agile Development methodologies
