The DevOps Engineer I is interested in growing, learning and contributing.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Learn how to deploy via our continuous integration and deployment process using Ansible, Jenkins, Packer, AWS CodePipeline and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Collaborate with our development teams within our Agile development processes
  • Create or enhance automated testing to improve our infrastructure
  • Write code to support our infrastructure and applications
  • Maintain multi-AZ and multi-region AWS hosted environments
  • Test and maintain our disaster discovery environments
  • Monitor, identify, and solve performance and reliability issues with our environments hosted on EC2, RDS and other services
  • Create and maintain documentation

WHERE THIS ROLE MAY LEAD YOU

  • You will grow to design and take ownership of systems used to deploy and support our application
  • You will help determine the direction that the DevOps resources will follow as the environment continues to evolve and mature

Requirements

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • You must be able to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively
  • You’ve worked or practiced one of the following for at least 1+ year(s):
    • DevOps
    • Software Development
    • Systems Administration / Operations
  • You have experience building and/or supporting production applications
  • You have interest in learning the SDLC, promoting applications from development all the way to production
  • You are passionate about application reliability and automating everything
  • You enjoy working on variety of different projects and try to continuously improve systems and processes
  • You have a BS or MS in Computer Science, related field (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math/Physics, Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering), or equivalent professional experience
