At our core, we are an analytics company. The insights we gain from our analyses guide our strategic path forward as we grow revenue, enter new markets, and strengthen our customer relationships. The Data Science team proactively leads and collaborates to identify the most valuable problems to solve, constructs a Roadmap to delivery, and executes our plan. All of the outputs of the Data Science team models will feed into the Product portfolio at DRIVIN, aiding tens of thousands of internal and external stakeholders in their decision-making processes.

Job Description:

DRIVIN is looking to expand our DevOps team as we continue to innovate the used car industry.  The candidate should have a strong background in AWS, with a working knowledge of infrastructure as code, configuration management tools like Saltstack and Ansible, CI/CD with Jenkins, and  provisioning tools like Terraform and Cloudformation.  As a member of the DevOps team this candidate will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, and optimizing the infrastructure and processes for application success.  This candidate will be responsible for implementing best practice cloud infrastructure to support our application and data science teams.  This candidate should have 2-3 years experience in application support.

DRIVIN tech stack is cutting edge using Amazon AWS to host our environments using ElasticSearch, Spark, and Docker.  DRIVIN uses React/node.js, Java, and Python for application development.   

REQUIREMENTS:

• Background in system configuration and monitoring
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with ELK stack preferred
• Experience with Postgres is preferred
• Experience with Jenkins or similar build tool
• Experience working in an Agile environment preferred
• Experience with SaltStack preferred
• Experience with AWS preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor and maintain the application infrastructure
• Deployment of application code to production environments
• Support the development teams by implementing best practices for infrastructure creation
• Scheduling system upgrades
• Optimizing infrastructure costs
