Job Description

The Cloud Compute team is driving the way technology services are hosted and delivered within Motorola Solutions by integrating public and private cloud services into the existing services framework. Compute DevOps leads the way in delivering the necessary automation tools and development framework using API management and orchestration to optimize and make the environment more efficient.

This position will work collaboratively with the Architecture, Automation, Security and Network teams and be responsible for -

• Automating provisioning of Cloud resources.

• Integrating, consolidating and optimizing the global MSI compute footprint.

• Designing and implementing algorithms to make efficient use of AWS platform resources.

• Creatively using container technologies like Docker to make the infrastructure and platforms resilient and consistent..

• Building frameworks that allow quicker and easier adoption of serverless architectures by application teams.

• Collaborating with the rest of the team to build and use CI/CD pipeline for code deployments.

• Working with the Cloud Architecture team to refine the design and direction for any cloud enabled applications.

Basic Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science and/or related field

• 4+ years of hands on operations experience delivering continuous integration and continuous delivery pipeline.

• Ability to script/program and automate where necessary
