The Digital Technology Director (DTD) is a client facing role that aligns Technology with the strategy and goals of our clients. With a passion for impact and long-term success, the DTD will be brought into high potential client engagements bringing relevant past successes forward and a winning delivery strategy to demonstrate confidence. The DTD will work with the Delivery and Client Growth teams in driving results that will fulfill our client’s business solutions.
Duties
- Responsible for consulting with clients to advise on Technology to achieve the desired business outcomes that will result in our work with the client.
- Provides Technical Direction to the project teams and grow them on the technology front
- Collaborate with the Delivery Lead through effective planning, strong communication, business alignment and accountability for technology aspects.
- Find and assess opportunities for impact, understand and communicate value to the client, and work with the business development team to secure new opportunities.
- Support long term retention of accounts.
- Support Client Partners to build strategic plans for their portfolio of client accounts that define the growth, impact, and retention strategy for the account.
- Establish a communication rhythm with the team that ensures that the entire team is aligned and engaged in the desired business outcomes, strategy, and execution expectations.
- Responsible for driving alignment and support with The Nerdery's leadership team in the outcomes and strategy for their accounts.
- Responsible for implementation and adoption of market leading approaches through professional development and change leadership.
Skills/Qualifications
- BS or BA Degree (MS or MBA degree preferred) or equivalent experience required
- A minimum of 8 years in a client-facing role in a digital professional services organization
- A minimum of 5 years in a Technology leadership role
- Experience with multiple technology domains and proven record to lead teams through technical excellence
- Strong digital Technology strategy acumen including design thinking, technical architecture and user experience
- Experience leading multiple, complex work streams concurrently on the technology front
- Ability to work in a matrixed reporting environment.
- Strong acumen for product development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
- Strong business acumen with experience communicating insights from analysis
- Experience building and managing relationships with C-level executives
- Executive presence and exceptional communication skills
- Experience driving large-scale change within an organization
