Job Description
The Buyer product group helps our customers find and purchase the perfect item on Reverb. Our work is technically diverse and highly collaborative, including search ranking, structured data, SEO, mobile web optimization, and more. These features represent our highest-trafficked and most visible product experiences. We learn through rapid iteration and frequent experimentation.
The Director of Engineering will guide the development of impactful product improvements, craft systems to amplify the group's effectiveness, and ensure that the team is growing and thriving.

- Ensure your teams have the context and rituals to deliver effectively. Lead the work from the high level perspective of a senior leader, and, when needed, dive into the details to support high quality execution.
- Break down barriers for your team and the organization, in particular those that span teams, functions, or departments. Lead engineering-wide initiatives to drive successful outcomes now and over time.
- Hands-on coding won't be a major part of your job, but you'll build empathy and insights by making occasional technical contributions.
Qualifications

- Track record of hiring top talent in a rapidly growing organization
- A history of building highly scaled product experiences, including both "green-field" efforts and optimizations, that solve real customer problems and create measurable business impact
