Summary
As Director, Security Systems, you will perform a range of activities required to ensure OCC’s critical projects, goals, and security requirements are met. This position will encompass a range of security objects, teams, and products including Privileged Account Management, Public Key Infrastructure, and Cloud Services.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, be motivated to collaborate with stakeholders across Security and IT teams and keep current on regulatory/compliance demands on our company (e.g. CIS, NIST, etc).

- Provide expert knowledge to the organization and stakeholders regarding the status, goals, functionality, and progression of Security Objectives
- Recommend hardware/software technologies in support of application and/or architecture requirements.
- Provide senior level leadership to a broad team of engineers, consultants, and staff across the organization.
- Manage expectations and deliverables independently for the teams to including audit discovery and remediation, project timelines, and resource delegation.
- Ensure proper documentation and alignment with key compliance objectives.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Provide reporting to executive leadership
- Develop staff to including training, mentorship, and functional alignment with employee career goals
- Ensure that timely progress goals are discussed with the team and that employees are prioritized to ensure OCC retains top tier talent.

- Good consultative, communication, team player and analytical skills are a must, as you will be regularly interacting between various teams.
- Relevant experience managing multiple teams across different technology spectrums.
- Self-motivated to remain informed on current and emerging trends and security best practices
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment with short timelines and work well under pressure.
- Understanding of Privileged Account Management ideologies and have some experience with key industry toolsets.
- Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure and Cloud Based Technologies
- Strong architectural understanding of security landscape and trending technologies
Technical Skills:
- Understanding and experience utilizing Cloud Services and Architecture (AWS / Azure)
- Ability to learn and review Infrastructure as code (Terraform / Hashi Vault)
- Experience with encryption technologies and products (Key Management / Certificate Management)
- Exposure to IAM and PAM services and applications (CyberArk / ForgeRock / Sailpoint)
Education and/or Experience:
- Advanced degree, preferably in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.) and relevant IT systems experience in PKI, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Certificates or Licenses:
- CISSP, Cloud Based Certifications and PKI Foundational certifications are a strong plus.
