Your Responsibilities
As Engineering Manager, Warehouse Operations in Milan or Chicago, you will be responsible to develop a new team that is part of the Parts IT Modernization initiative. You and your team will be responsible, in partnership with our existing team in John Deere India, for the design, configuration, development, and deployment of the solutions required to operate Parts warehouses around the world. Specific responsibilities include:
- Build, lead and manage the IT engineering team by providing servant leadership and developing talent.
- Drive a culture of continual experimentation and learning while leading by example. Coach and mentor engineers daily on complex topics.
- Ensure high-quality and secure solutions that adhere to technical standards and industry best practices.
- Ensure scrum teams align their efforts to the needs of their customers through strong collaboration with Product Managers and Scrum Masters to deliver on business goals.
What Skills You Need
- Five or more years of previous software development experience with SAP
- Three or more years of experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
- Three or more years of experience with cloud computing like AWS / working in cloud-based SAP landscapes
- Two or more years of experience with SAP delivery automation, active control
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor highly technical resources.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
What Makes You Stand Out
- Multiple years of experience working on IT systems that directly support Service Parts Management or Warehouse Operations
- Experience resolving SAP Security Vulnerabilities
- Experience working in Agile frameworks, specifically Scrum @ Scale
- Previous team leadership experience
Education Details
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
