Join Rally Health as a Software Engineer where you will help users connect with the services they need to maintain and improve their health and make the best decisions. Our solutions include health data and device data management capabilities. We are working on interesting technical challenges in the areas of web performance, server scalability, online data architecture, analytics, personalization, recommendations and more. As part of the Core Solution Engineering team, you will report to the Senior Manager, Architecture and work with a team of Engineers. You Will:

• Build and ship scalable systems, libraries, and frameworks
• Write production quality code 90% of the time
• Manage code changes using Git and GitHub
• Build features that align to our vision, resolve technical challenges and learn from others in the process
• Use Scala using the Play framework, Kafka, AngularJS or ReactJS and MongoDB or Postgres

You Have:

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical role or the equivalent experience
• 1+ year of experience as a software engineer is a bonus
• Command of Scala or Command of Java or C# and interest in learning Scala
• Knowledge of database concepts (both NoSQL and RDBMS)
• Knowledge of computing concepts including API design, fault tolerance, highly available and scalable distributed systems, multithreaded programming, performance tuning, and security
