Job Description
Ensono's Expert Solution Architects are business and technology advisors focused on pushing forward innovation and transformation within the enterprise space. They work closely with our clients to understand their business drivers and objectives. Through collaboration with internal technology teams, they create solutions that drive value for our clients. They also provide client and industry feedback to Ensono's internal teams, which allows Ensono to adjust our product and technology roadmaps.
Expert Architects works alongside and support Sales, Consulting and Client Success organizations to service our Clients. They work with the clients' business and technical teams to create reference architecture frameworks and templates. They also lead the efforts to execute multi-year transformation initiatives. To that end, Expert Architects must be effective in fostering executive level relationships with an emphasis on client satisfaction. Throughout the engagement process, from discovery to solution implementation, they must work with and often lead multi-disciplinary teams. Ultimately, he/she remains of the owner of the overall technical solution for a client engagement.
Responsibilities:

• Engage closely with C-level executives to lead enterprise-wide transformation programs
• Identify business drivers and goals and develop compelling board ready proposals and value-driven business cases to achieve desired business outcomes
• Collaborate with cross-functional technology experts to drive plan and execute roadmaps to accelerate our customer's business outcome
• Support strategic client(s) as the Lead technical adviser for all initiatives
• Collaborate with counterparts in the Sales and Consulting organizations to create Pursuit, Solution, and Sales strategies for Enterprise clients
• Conduct discovery, assessment and solution development workshops (often in collaboration with resources from consulting, operations and product teams) to craft winning solutions
• Develop and document solutions that meet client's (technical and business) requirements and allow them to adapt to changing industry needs with a focus on transformation and re-platform efforts
• Conduct solution development sessions and present technical solutions and business cases to a wide variety of audience
• Gain executive buy in for complex solutions by engaging in executive and senior-level technology discussions
• Work with finance and pricing teams to create complex multi-year financial models
• Gain clients' confidence as a trusted adviser by offering consultation and recommendations drawn from insights, technology know-how and past experiences
• Align and partner with Product Management to help drive appropriate product enhancements and changes to technology roadmap
• Aid in driving stability and innovation within the client's current and future state and create solutions based on client requirements and available product offerings
• Push for higher value/value added services and solutions to the customer in line with Ensono's offerings
• While this is not a "hands-on-keyboard" role, Principal Architects work with and lead technical engineers and operators that as required to support the client projects.
• To that end, Principal Architects help create delivery/migration plans, from high level program frameworks to detailed project plans and cut-over run-books.
• And they assist the team as the architecture lead through key migration milestones such as testing, cut-over, post cut-over trouble-shooting and operational hand-off.

Requirements:

• Experience planning and leading large-scale enterprise IT change management programs
• Strong technical background with the ability to communicate and design at a master architect level
• Direct experience designing, building, and operating global IT infrastructure services
• Exceptional business acumen and high judgment - be able to use business and technology depth and breadth to understand customer needs and shape transformation initiative
• 7+ years of relevant leadership experience in enterprise IT, consulting, and/or engineering/development
• Experience selling and delivering enterprise IT professional service or cloud services
• Highly credible with CxO and board-level audiences as well as technology leaders, engineers and developers
• Experience in technical documentation to capture solution components in a timely manner while ensuring acceptable level of detail, data integrity, and accountability
• Ability to share knowledge and expertise among various organizations within the company and to facilitate teamwork among those organizations to better serve our clients
• Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
• Very comfortable with developing, implementing, managing and executing through influence across a cross-functional set of senior stakeholders.
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results. Ability to effectively lead and work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills. Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams.
• Understanding of (and experience with) public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid solutions preferred
• Well versed in the hosting technology landscape including compute, storage, backup, network, security, DR, DevOps and IT governance
