The Creative Services Specialist includes UI design expertise creating visual designs that effectively communicate product function and brand identity, including the design and production of screen layouts, color palettes, typography, user interface elements, and icons. The ideal candidate will include strong front-end development skills that can apply their expertise in HTML,
CSS / SASS, and JS to implement and maintain new features / enhancements in a variety of dynamic web applications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Develop the user interface, graphics, code, and scripts within SAVO / Seismic integrated applications 
• Build, edit and maintain SASS/SCSS files for CSS output to HTML in web browsers
• Produce and integrate web page layouts, graphics, logos, text, images, code, and scripts within the browser
• Collaborate with other designers, and clients in brainstorming and concepting, as well as provide support for a variety of design deliverables
• Work with Clients, Area Directors, Sales Teams, Project Managers and the Creative Services Manager to analyze user needs and improve website design
• Assist with the creation of custom requirements for either the organization's and/or client's tenants
• Keep informed of latest development tools, browser technology, and Web/Internet standards 
• Produce results independently as well as collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team environment that includes other designers, IA, business and product strategists, and developers 
• Support troubleshooting development and testing of HTML, CSS & JS widget code sets across multiple browsers
• Manage documentation and deploy training to clients that will use code sets & design maintenance

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years with core web technologies (HTML, Javascript/DOM, CSS / SASS)
• Previous experience developing UI interfaces or presentation layer web apps 
• Ability to create valid, table-less layouts, using only CSS for presentation
• Understanding of the intricacies and complexities of cross-browser development 
• Some experience with prevalent Javascript toolkits/frameworks
• An eye for design and layout
• Ability to work well with a variety of people including Product Managers, Designers and Information Architects
• Good understanding of user-interface issues, information architecture, and awareness of client-side technologies
• Ability to take art direction and constructive criticism
• Ability to manage and estimate personal time outlays for each project
• Able to provide clear instructions and training to nontechnical customers

Education

Bachelor's degree in design or related field.
