ParkWhiz is looking for a Front End Developer with an interest in voice driven technologies and a passion for optimizing user experiences.

On the voice front we are working with Amazon's Alexa and Google's Actions On Google to make it quick and easy to book parking in your home, car, or anywhere else. We're looking for someone to work with these teams to help innovate on and perfect these initiatives.

What you'll be doing

• Obviously write a great deal of Javascript
• Experience in React, HTML, and CSS are preferred
• Work with our UX team to define and iterate on voice driven transactions and then implement them. You will be a key contributor to both the desktop and mobile web UI/UX.
• Collaborate with Product and the rest of the engineering team to enforce consistent and intuitive interactions across platforms
• Conduct hallway usability tests
• Suggest improvements in the way we leverage our existing toolkit
• As a member of the .com team, contribute to planning and execution efforts across the web application as needed

What you bring to the table

• A strong knowledge of JavaScript and the JavaScript ecosystem and well on your way toward gaining expertise. (ES6, Immutable, moment)
• Strong familiarity with existing front end frameworks to include UI components, Javascript libraries and frameworks, font libraries, and grid systems
• You'll be working with most of the following, so an understanding or familiarity with some of them would help: React, Webpack, and Yarn/Npm.
• An obsession to create the optimal user experience
