ThinkMarkets is seeking a Front-End Engineer to take a key role in driving our front-end UI development for our trading web applications. The key focus will lie on leveraging new technologies in order to enhance existing architecture, as well as building new UI from scratch. In this role, you will be collaborating with project managers, engineers, and developers working on different layers of our business across the globe. Responsibilities:
 

• Create beautiful and high-performing UI for ThinkMarkets' high-frequency, low-latency web trading applications
• Design, develop and implement modern desktop and web applications development using JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux, HTML5, and CSS3
• Lead planning, development, and maintenance support of a growing portfolio of applications, supporting various facets of the organization
• Work alongside project/product managers, design, & back-end development teams in creating and maintaining the existing internal and external front end applications
• Develop integrations to external services and software using RESTful APIs
• Partner on any necessary UI/UX tweaks and enhancements

Requirements:
 

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering or a relevant field
• 5+ years of experience in modern desktop and web applications development using JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux, HTML5, and CSS3
• Strong familiarity with agile development tools such as GIT and JIRA is a must
• Working knowledge of RESTful Web-Services, JSON, networking protocols and best practices for promoting leading application performance
• Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser and different devices compatibility, as well as general web functions and standards
• Experience developing interfaces for trading applications is strongly preferred
• Experience in building complex SPA applications
