closerlook's Freelance Interactive Developerwill collaborate with cross-functional members of the closerlook team to build, enhance and support functioning web and mobile applications based on acceptance criteria, coding standards, user interface guidelines and graphic designs. This requires the ability to turn working knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS into solutions for our clients and their end users.

Requirements

• 4 years of frontend experience building fully responsive websites and grid systems
• Experience with SVGs, particularly animation
• Strong documentation and communication (written and verbal) skills
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
• Experience on technical projects with limited supervision and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment or independently
• Ability to analyze problems and offer multiple potential solutions
• Ability and willingness to convey technical concepts and solutions to non-technical team members
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Good fundamental knowledge of animation development
• Experience with CMS (Sitecore, AEM, Wordpress)
• Experience building iOS or Android mobile applications
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server and Razor View Engine syntax
• Experience with MVC, SASS or ES6
• Fundamental understanding of object-oriented programming, analytic algorithms and visualization layouts
• Prior experience working in an interactive agency environment
