Full Stack E-Commerce Developer

Tiege Hanley is “Uncomplicated Skin Care for Men®”.    Tiege Hanley is a three-year-old company that sells subscription skin care boxes at Tiege.com.  Our mission is to help men look and feel amazing.   We do it by providing men with the highest quality skin care products on the market, packaged as a simplified system and sold at an awesome price.  

Tiege Hanley’s E-commerce Team is charged with helping to create and deliver a "best in class" digital experience to support the sales growth of the company.

Tiege Hanley’s full stack developer plays a critical role in supporting all aspects of the website from front-end creative implementation to back-end development. All aspects of the website should be created to maximize the user experience from the look and feel, to the content application, ease of checkout and subscription management.
 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all technical aspects of our Shopify-based E-commerce website
  • Develop reliable, modern and robust customizations
  • Connect current and future integrations via APIs
  • Progress our custom, Laravel-based customer dashboard and internal metrics app
  • Capture and organize all of our growing customer and business data, and enable our analyst and business team to better understand our customers and subscription business
  • Work with and gain intimate knowledge for our reoccurring third-party payment processing system
  • Ensure the website is operational and fully functional 24/7/365
  • Utilize our in-house UX/UI expertise to optimize and modify the site, maximizing the user experience and engagement
  • Collaborate closely with business leaders to enhance and extend our technology stack
  • Assist with researching and assessing new web and e-commerce technologies as well as reviewing our current choices

Requirements

  • 4+ years’ experience on web development
  • Professional experience utilizing PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, VUE.js and Python
  • Experience managing and maintaining an AWS instance for in-house applications
  • Solid knowledge in creating databases (MySQL preferred)
  • Strong API experience
  • 2+years of Shopify or similar e-commerce platform experience (WooCommerce, Magento, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
  • Reports to the Director of e-Commerce
