Optiver's Infrastructure Team is looking for engineers to build, scale, and support our large-scale research infrastructure. This infrastructure is used across our trading teams, most critically by our Futures Trading and Equity Options trading teams as part of their machine learning and data analysis pipelines. The technical infrastructure beneath those pipelines includes an on premises, highly parallelized compute cluster fed by terabytes of data, as well as a growing footprint in AWS. HPC and Cloud Infrastructure Engineers will collaborate closely with both our development teams and the rest of the infrastructure team to continuously evolve our infrastructure to meet the business' growing needs.

What you’ll do:

•  Design, optimize, and support HPC compute and storage
•  Design, optimize, and support AWS VPC and S3 infrastructure
•  Troubleshoot OS (Linux), storage, and network issues
•  Evaluate and compare both hardware, software, and cloud solutions
•  Manage capacity planning for both on premises and cloud infrastructure
•  Develop and deploy Python automation for job scheduling, monitoring, and config management
