CityBase is seeking a highly technical Information Security Manager to do great work. A successful candidate will be well-versed in monitoring various security systems, identifying attacks and intrusion attempts, and engineering solutions to defend against today’s cyber threats. Beyond the technical requirements, the Information Security Manager will also be expected to effectively communicate risk to senior leadership, identify areas of improvement, and work closely with CityBase’s SRE and development teams. This is a high visibility position at a fast moving tech company, and you must be a highly motivated self-starter.

Objectives and Responsibilities:

• Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information
• Identify and define system security requirements
• Analyze systems and applications to identify security gaps and work with business owners to remediate any deficiencies
• Design system security architecture
• Advise senior leadership and technical stakeholders on emerging threats, and countermeasures
• Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices
• Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
• Perform network and application vulnerability scans, communicate results to engineers, and perform validation testing
• Analyze phishing campaigns and other malicious activity targeting the organization
• Lead coordination with 3rd party audit firms for yearly PCI, SOC2 and other audit activities

Skills and Experience:

• PCI and SOC 2 audit experience required
• Linux knowledge required
• Windows administration familiarity preferred
• Experience with defense-in-depth security strategies required
• EDR Tools and Technologies (CrowdStrike Falcon)
• Log collection and analysis (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
• Incident response
• Vulnerability scanning and remediation
• Intrusion detection and prevention
• AWS experience is a huge plus
• Web application security is a huge plus
• Exceptional communication skills are critical, both written and verbal
• Positive and professional attitude, tactful, organized, and a team player
• Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, rapid-growth environment
