SMS Assist, L.L.C., IT Associate Director - Software Development, Chicago, IL – Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Responsible for coding and design skills in .NET with C#, HTML5/CSS, JavaScript, Knockout.js, and SQL/Oracle/MySQL. Take technical responsibility for a family of systems - manage technical debt, be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement, and work with system engineers to keep production systems scaling and performing. Actively contribute to the adoption of software architecture, best practices, and technologies. Utilize web technologies such as HTML, Ajax, JSON, SPA and Cloud Computation. Responsible for unit testing, version control, agile process environment and frontend integration in an agile environment. Responsible for managing projects and mentoring junior developers with coding running on Cloud environment such AWS and Azure. Responsible for design patterns in creational, structural and behavioral patterns in system architecture design and implementation. Utilize domain driven design in the software development industry.

Applicant must possess a Bachelor's or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Networking, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Electrical Engineering, or Project Management and 5 years of experience in software development and project management. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience in: 1.) 5 years with coding and design skills in .NET with C#, HTML5/CSS, JavaScript, Knockout.js, and SQL/Oracle/MySQL; 2.) 3 years with web technologies such as HTML, Ajax, JSON, SPA and Cloud Computation; 3.) 1 year in unit testing, version control, agile process environment and frontend integration; 4.) 2 years managing projects and mentoring junior developers; 5.) 1 year with creational, structural and behavioral patterns in system architecture design and implementation; 6.) 1 year with domain driven design in the software development industry.
