Java Software Engineer

Job Description
- Work with our Agile team that develops smart and scalable solutions and provide a solid experience for our users.
- Develop Microservices to provide dedicated business functions
- Converse fluently in the full web-technology stack.
- Develop an understanding of our products and the problems we are attempting to solve. Go beyond working from requirements... help architect the system and experience and ship production ready code early.

Required Skills
- Degree in Computer Science or similar technical degree with 7+ years of experience
- Strong experience of core Java, Spring, Springboot
- Experience in modern JS Frameworks (React, Ember or Angular)
- Proven experience in development/support of REST API interfaces
- Experience of database concepts, SQL (Oracle preferred).
- Familiarity with NoSQL like Cassandra, distribute cache solutions such as Gemfire, streaming (Kafka)
- Experience developing with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, and Cucumber.
- Understanding of container platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes
- Working proficiency in developmental toolsets like IntelliJ, Eclipse, VSCode
- Knowledge of application development on Public, Private and Hybrid Cloud.
- Knowledge of Reactive Programming Concepts
- Understanding of Agile delivery principles
- Excellent analytical, communication and problem solving skills.
- Experience with high volume, mission critical applications involving concurrency patterns
- Ability to independently deliver on agreed requirements and designs
- Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
- Driven technical professional who takes ownership of his code
