We are currently seeking a creative Jr. Data Engineer to join our Data Science team. At ActiveCampaign the Jr. Data Engineer will manage one-off request from different internal teams at Active Campaign for data analytics/ETL/Tool Integration. Our team is passionate about leveraging value from data for end user e.g. predict deal closures, predict best email send schedules, predictively suggest best email and marketing automation and much more. What Your Day Could Consist Of:

• Understanding and documenting business needs for various business users
• Creating Looker dashboards/visuals off existing data (LookerML)
• Integrating new data flows with existing ETL processes (SQL, Python, Airflow)
• Validating data flows for robustness (Python, SQL)

What You Need:

• SQL expert
• Basic Python skills
• Experience with any data visualization tools/frameworks
• Experience with any ETL tool
• Outstanding business analysis and communication skills
• Experience with version control/Git
• Looker Experience (LookerML) (desired)
• Ability to transform business data requirements into robust ETL jobs and actionable business dashboards (desired)
• Programming experience in any other language is a big plus
• Experience with different SQL dialects (postgres, presto, ANSI, etc.)
