While we are embracing a remote-flexible work week, employees are expected to be within commuting distance of an office. The  frequency of in-office days will be determined on a team-by-team basis closer to the reopening of our offices.

As a Lead Backend Engineer, you will:

  • Drive the continued design and development of our backend systems
  • Provide guidance on architecture, technical designs and code reviews
  • Initiate projects that will modernize the experience how our client interact with health care system
  • Design our software system to meet various regulatory and compliance requirements for Health Care
  • Mentor and coach Junior engineers

  • Likes to be involved in the decision making process, taking into account the needs of our customers as well as our company

Our Tech Stack 

Our backend services follow micro services architecture written using Java and Spring; we use Cloud services (AWS). Collective Health stores data in a set of PostgreSQL databases and utilizes Python & Spark for large scale data workloads. We have both Angular/template-based model and React-driven architecture for our front end.
