As a Lead .NET Software Engineer for the Wholesale Loan Technology Specialty Loans team, you will work directly with business partners, other technology teams, and vendors. You will participate in all phases of the software development life cycle to implement solutions to meet business needs, provide application support, and ensure proper technology controls and application documentation.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 6 years of Software Engineering/programming experience utilizing .NET Development (ASP.Net, C#, VB.NET, etc)
  • Experience with REST, REST APIs, Web API, SOAP APIs, Web Services
  • Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, and other JavaScript frameworks and libraries
  • Experience with MS SQL Server with strong SQL skills
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills
  • Solid object oriented design, coding, testing, and debugging skills
  • Knowledge of version control practices and procedures
  • Detail oriented with strong communication skills, organizational skills, problem solving and decision making abilities
  • Flexible – ability to work after hours to implement technical changes
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work efforts
  • Ability to learn quickly and work well under pressure
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
  • Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems
  • Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages
  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
  • Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
  • Passionate about building an innovative culture

Desired Skills:

  • Min 5+years’ experience working in a financial services environment including knowledge of Loans & accounting principles
  • Extensive experience with UM / MQ Messaging Experience with Windows OS, Windows Services, WCF, MVC
  • Experience in automated testing and monitoring frameworks: Unit Testing, NUnit, QTP, Geneos, Cucumber, Fitnesse, Selenium, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Agile Development methodologies
  • Previous experience with the Agency Loans and Loan Trading business
