Requirements:
• Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience in the information and network security industry in addition to a BS in computer science or related field.
• Experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting network security for enterprise customers (preferably within a datacenter environment).
• Extensive experience performing analysis and diagnosis of highly complex networking problems; analysis of highly complex network designs.
• Extensive experience in security configuration of network and security devices in a large enterprise environment (routers, switches, firewalls, packet brokers, intrusion detection/prevention systems).
• Provide expert level security consultation on internal projects focusing on business needs, security’s role in change management, and how data is transmitted internally and externally.
• Experience driving global deployment of inline network security technologies.
Preferred requirements:
• CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Deployment experience with NGFW and associated technologies.
• CISSP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Cloud platform experience such as AWS or Azure is preferred.
• Shell, Python or Perl scripting experience is preferred.
Impact you’ll make:
• In your first 90 days you will be expected to take ownership of our inline and passive IXIA packet brokers, participate in our Operational Excellence program and adhere to change management process and procedures.
• After 90 days you will be leading the initiative to drive the deployment of our existing inline security architecture to global locations. You will also lead enhancement efforts for one or more security product implementations and research new developments in network security technologies.
• In this role you will provide the security teams with a solidified inline security architecture that ensures compliance to internal security architectural standards, ensures optimal uptime for support of existing and new inline security products and minimizes risk to the environment.
