Lead Software Developer-IHM
DUTIES: DFS Corporate Services LLC seeks Lead Programmer in Riverwoods, IL to participate in analyzing, modifying, and supporting application software. Ensure quality code is delivered through continuous integration, development, and testing. Perform technical design, coding with test automation, support, and documentation of software application modifications. Maintain application software and systems. Ensure all projects and releases are appropriately tested and risks are mitigated. Participate in technology solutions that support business goals. Work with product owner to understand business requirements, evaluate features, and translate application specifications into workable technical solutions. Support technical initiatives and provides input into best practices to team. Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or related position: participating in statistical software solutions including SAS grid and SAS MRM; participating in the design, development and support of applications; performing application software installations, patching and upgrades; participating in troubleshooting, testing and developing documentation; and utilizing JAVA, AIX, Linux, Shell scripting, Unix, Python, R and SAS. In the alternative, the employer will accept one (1) year of undergraduate studies and two (2) years of experience to satisfy the educational requirement.
