At MetriTrack our mission is to prevent cancer deaths by eliminating uncertainty in diagnostic ultrasound. Our first product, the 510(k)-cleared BVN G-1000 for breast screening ultrasound provides for easy and accurate location and relocation of suspicious lesions. MetriTrack Inc. is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to assist in the development of our next-generation ultrasound navigation systems. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing intuitive user interfaces and elegant 3D visualizations for real-time ultrasound probe navigation, develop and refine real-time signal processing algorithms, and develop software-interfaces between system components. Ultimately, you are responsible for delivering clean code that demonstrably works! Qualified candidates will be experienced in deploying Windows PC Applications (C#/WPF) with experience in 3D Graphics (XNA, MonoGame, or similar). Experience in a regulated environment is necessary, preferably in a medical device organization implementing ISO 13485 and IEC 62304 controls.

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will work with a small team of engineers and researchers, report directly to the Director of Engineering / CTO, and communicate frequently with the CEO. Collaboration with the Quality team will help you ensure deployed software is well documented and thoroughly tested.

The qualified applicant will have the following qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Related Field
• Experience: 5+ Years of Software Development
• Industries: Regulated Industries, preferably Medical Devices.
• Languages: C#, C++/CLI
• Platforms and Tools: .NET Framework, WPF, XNA, MonoGame, PostSharp, Unity, NUnit, Moq
• Methods: OOP, MVVM, Unit Testing
• IDE: Visual Studio Professional or Enterprise
• Scope: User Interface Design, 3D Graphics, Front- and Back-End Software
• Math: 3D Linear Algebra, including rotation matrices and coordinate transforms
• Standards: IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971
• SDLC: Requirements Definitions, Architecture and Unit Designs, Verification and Validation
• Presentation Skills: Ability to clearly communicate problems and potential resolutions, using visual tools to support the communication.
• Communication: Fluent in English
